Sensitive analysis for pesticides in food with the TSQ 9000 GC-MS/MS system
With the new Thermo Scientific™ TSQ™ 9000 GC-MC/MS system, equipped with the advanced EI source, we are able to confidently analyze at extremely low levels for pesticides, and doing so for an extended period of time without maintenance on the MS. We performed an extended study on over 200 pesticides in baby food, checking the SANTE guidelines for analysis.
So how does the new source design work?
In this video we are showing the difference between the Thermo Scientific™ ExtractaBrite™ ion source and the Thermo Scientific™ Advanced Electron Ionization™ (AEI) source. Both source types are available on the single quadrupole and triple quadrupole GC-MS platforms.
